A COLLECTION OF IDEAS IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER
•4x4:
In an empty room, a bookcase of 4x4 cubicles holds installations with objects representing people's identities. We hear interviews of the people sharing who they are.
•Moment of Silence:
A physical (or digital) memorial for all the ideas that didn’t make it. Perhaps this work is about reviving and bringing life back into them?
•X/XX:
A short film follows the cycle of a love story at a traffic light, capturing the stages of a relationship from meeting to separation, all from a fixed angle as the seasons change around them.
•Something, Anything:
A transmedia podcast where Nohely and Jonathan explore different themes and collect images, sounds, objects, and experiences to help strengthen the listening experience.
•Bus Story:
Animated short film showing intimate and contemplative vignettes of passengers on a bus. The film ends with a shot of a pink backpack being forgotten on a seat.
•Boy in the Woods:
A story of a Black boy who is told he has special powers. A man, who may or may not be his father, hides him away in the forest until some locals catch a glimpse of this boy who went missing several years ago.
•Dispatch:
A wall of ringing telephones. If you pick one up, you can hear a reconstruction of a person describing a Black person to the police.
•DAP:
A baby grabs a finger, a toddler holds a video game controller, a kid learns to dap for the first time. A collection of moments in a boy’s life shown through just hands.
•Rest Assured:
A week-long series of daily Instagram stories designed to offer moments of rest and reflection amidst the global Black Lives Matter protests.
•A collection of ideas in no particular order:
A bullet-point list of ideas by Nohely and Jonathan that they share publicly in order to speak things into existence.
